The climb journey from nandi hill bottom to top was quite picturesque. Road was good, with very small inclination, U-turns were like turns car-racing tracks, so, it was quite an easy drive.
Full moon, added with clouds in early morning gave an impression of fog at early dawn. Anyway, when we reached top, it was morning already. Many people had stopped in between the climb and were enjoying the cold scenery there. Some were quite intoxicated and were floating. We took many breaks for clicking some snaps.
The hazy scene reminded me of my childhood, when I used to go to school in early winter mornings, fog making visibility of zero and we need to find directions using either our sixth sense or hands. Fog at the same level, still occurs but the durations are very small, now when kids leave for school in winter morning, fog gets vanished like thief after stealing.
Looking down after we reached a little higher was simply breathtaking. Moonlit peaks, floating clouds, twinkling village lights below, its really hard to express there beauty in words. Sun was getting up and moon had gone down in dumps, we were still on the way to the top.
It was cold and I had started just as I was dozing off, so, took no jacket. Till we reached the top, my hairs were wet due to mist and had become spooky.
