Why a movie in between

The last movie review seems out placed in between all my serious posts. So, I will explain why this movie was worth writing about. Recently, in Delhi there was a candle light vigil, people marching to 'India Gate' for justice on 'Jessica Lal murder case'. Then, there was another march by common people in Varanasi, after the bomb blast. These two examples, I think fair enough to say that the movie (RDB) has atleast forced people to think and take some action over their nation's plight. People seemed now more then ready to support any protest against corruption and bureaucrat’s high handedness. Though, effect is very small but 'there is something'. RDB's director must be given credit for this. When the movie was finished, some young lads were laughing and shouting, like this movie is just another joke as other movies. While taking my dinner, I heard one lad saying that it's impossible, what they have shown in the movie but in very serious tone. The solution given in the movie for nation's plight was stupid but the questions raised were powerful enough to make people think of what they are doing for improving their nation. It's a good thing, as in India you get more people cribbing then acting their own responsibilities and the movie questioned this attitude. Delhi and Varanasi march show that people are more active for keeping the harmony in society and ready to oppose corruption.
